This sad sack of a lunch lady is Edna. She hates the kids. She hates herself. The only one she loves is her cat, Frankie, and Frankie is sick.

Issue #1
Summer vacation is over and the kids are back in school.
Edna is back on the lunch line at WedgeHood Middle. The kids are cruel, the principal laughs along, Frankie is getting worse, and something blue has started growing on her toes.

Have you been hearing voices lately?
Edna gets a dinner invitation from the other side of the mycelium. The voices finally introduce themselves, and they have a proposal.
