Secret Mystery School
While on a class trip, three college students discover a secret dimension ruled by ancient philosophers. Now they must become enlightened to return back home.
In Secret Mystery School #1:
Mt. Shasta
Rumored to be home of various "Ascended Masters", Mt. Shasta is where our story begins.
Psychedelics
The trouble begins when Phil becomes "accidentally enlightened" with drugs.
Enlightenment
After invoking the spirits of ancient philosophers, they need to return home.
Phil, Colin and Sophia traverse tunnels within the Aether and meet Diogenes the Cynic. The world’s original hipster and troll.
In Secret Mystery School #2:
Diogenes
Diogenes the dog is the original hipster and troll. He truly doesn't give AF.
Empyreans
Once philosophers, Empyreans now have the ability to traverse realities.
Philosophy
In order to return home, our characters must learn to understand... PHILOSOPHY!
In Secret Mystery School #3:
Epicurus
This dude is all about maximizing pleasure. But now he may have taken it too far.
Labyrinth
Our characters must navigate a vomit-filled maze, thanks to Phil's weak stomach.
Minotaur
Like any good labyrinth, there's a monster inside that you must slay to advance!
In this hilarious conclusion to the first volume, the main characters finally make it all the way to the Secret Mystery School. And surprisingly it's not unlike most schools they've been to before, complete with the usual cliques (in this case the Shamans, the Terminals, the Hippies, and the Microdosers).
There's also a classic grumpy principal: Pythagoras.
Colin starts to fall back into old patterns trying to impress the teachers, while Phil continues not to take anything seriously. All of our favorite characters come together and experience the Secret Mysteries - unveiled in full color illustrations to the reader!
This issue will be the most entertaining comic you'll ever read about the Secret Mysteries.
In Secret Mystery School #4:
Pythagoras
Pythagoras is the "mean principal" of the Secret Mystery School.
Eleusynian Mysteries
This issue breaks down the tale of Persephone in a brand new and hilarious context!
Origins of Consciousness
In the conclusion of this issue, the very nature of human consciousness is explained.
